Robbie & Ewan. The new Highland Bull!
After a very long drive to the Highland Cattle Show and Sale in Oban last week, we managed to buy this chap. Ewan Ruadh 2nd of Callachally. He's now out in the field with our own homebred McDouigall of Longstone. They've settled down to-gether now after a little bit of confusion!

TB Clear!
Good news! TB clear. After a very stressful day yesterday of moving the Highlands down from their winter quaters to be able to raed the test it was all worthwhile with a clear test. Although the whole process will have to be done in 60 days again.
The new Highland Bull took exception to all the moving and proved to be very difficult! not one to mess with.
The snow makes everything so much harder, it just seems to be a constant round of feeding and checking stock.

Another year
